All our coaches are NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) certified, having first aid and CPR. Competitive coaches are Level 2 or 3 certified having taken the Risk Management course. Recreational coaches are Level 1 or 2 certified , with Level 2 taken the Risk Management course.

Devon Arnold is Program Director at Kawartha Gymnastics for just more than one year. Devon is a fully certified level 2 Men's and Women's Coach with level 1 trampoline and Risk Management Certification. As well, Devon is a Certified Can Fit Pro Master Personal Trainer. Devon has been working at Kawartha Gymnastics since 1997 coaching both Recreational and Competitive teams.

Devon is a recent graduate from Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Education. She is also a graduate from Sir Sandford Fleming College International Trade program. Both Devon and her husband are fitness fans: enjoying running, yoga and working out.

Becky Ansell is a level 2 Certified Women's Coach as well as Level 2 Trampoline Certified. Currently Becky is taking a course to become a Provincial Level Gymnastics Judge. Becky has been a coach at Kawartha Gymnastics Club for 9 years in both the Competitive Program and Recreational Gymnastics. She currently coaches the Level 6-7 provincial team.

Tina Comtoisis certified women's level 2; men's level 2 and trampoline level 2 gymnastics coach as well as Risk Management. Tina has been a member of the coaching staff at Kawartha Gymnastics Club for 7 years and has coached both the Recreation programs and the Competitive Teams. She is coaching the Level 3 - 4 invitational team for 2008-2009.

Tina is a graduate of the Recreation and Leisure program from Sir Sandford Fleming College. Her interests are camping and working out.

Julia George is a level 2 certified women's coach and level 1 trampoline coach. Julia has been a member of the coaching team at Kawartha Gymnastics for 3 years and previously was a recreation coach at her home club in Sioux Lookout, where she trained and competed for 3 years.

Julia is a graduate of Trent University as a registered nurse and is now working in the community. Her other interests are cooking, reading and going for walks, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Jill Gilders is a fully certified level 2 artistic and level 1 trampoline coach as well as risk management training. Jill bring many years of experience aside from her coaching, she joined KGC as a competitive gymnast in 1999 and is looking forward to her first year competing as a level 7 Provincial Gymnast.

Jill is currently in her 3rd year at Trent University where she is in the Queen's-Trent Concurrent Education Program and majoring in French.

Jazmin Habgood is a level 1 coach and was a coach in training from 2006 to 2008. Jazmin has been a member of the Competitive team at Kawartha Gymnastics since 1998.

Jazmin is currently in Grade 11 at Adam Scott Secondary School. Her other interests include horseback riding.

Grace Holloway is a fully certified level 1 coach and has been a member of the Recreational Gymnastics Coaching Staff for 2 years. Grace participated in recreational gymnastics for several years when younger and is now in her 2nd year of Forensic Science at Trent University.

Brittany McCormack has been coaching at Kawartha Gymnastics for one year and is level 2 certified Artistic and level 1 trampoline. Brittany competed in gymnastics for 4 years, dance for 8 years and cheerleading for 6 years. Brittany also teaches Acro and Jazz dance at the Academy of Dance. Brittany is in her final year at Trent University studying Business Administration.

Kristi McMullenis certified level 2 women's and level 1 trampoline coach and is continuing her education in the sport. Kristi graduated from St. Peters Secondary School June 2008 and is working towards becoming a high school math teacher.

Kimberly Olak is a Level 3 Technical Women's Coach, Level 2 Trampoline, as well as Level 3 Judge. She began her coaching career at Kawartha Gymnastics in 1989. She has since coached both recreational and competitive gymnastics in several clubs, including the U.S., and Seneca College where she studied Advanced Gymnastics Coaching Techniques. Kimberly has experience with elite athletes, and has coached several Provincial Champions. She also teaches acrobatics for dance, and ballet. Kimberly is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology at Trent University.

Brittany Perry joins the recreational coaching team this year and is completing her level 1 certification. Brittany has been a member of the competitive team at Kawartha Gymnastics for 3 years. Brittany is a grade 11 student at Holy Cross Secondary School.

Ruby Wade is a level 2 certified artistic coach and level 2 trampoline coach as well as risk management. Ruby is a member of the Recreational Coaching staff and was a member of the competitive program in 1991. Ruby is busy with coaching recreation and private classes for both trampoline and artistic.

Ruby recently graduated from the Education Assistant Program at Sir Sandford Fleming College and is an avid movie buff and busy mom.
